No woman has reached the heights in USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship racing than has Kaylee Bryson. In Sept 2022, the Muskogee, Okla. native led 18 laps and finished as the runner-up at Gas City (Ind.) I-69 Speedway, -the best ever finish by woman in series history.
Bryson’s run was the best ever by a woman on dirt. In 2022, Bryson also tied Holly Shelton for the best ever finish in the point standings by a woman, taking 7th. In June 2022, Bryson became the new all-time leader in USAC National Midget feature starts by a woman with her 54th. October ‘22, Bryson captivated the audience at the Illinois State Fairgrounds to become the first woman to lead a lap in the history of the USAC Silver Crown series.
In fact, she led 72 out of the 100 laps before finishing 5th.
