Women in racing: The gap

The gender gap between men and women in the motorsport industry remains a large deficit for women.

Women represent 7-13% across all categories of competition with the highest in karting which contributes 40% of overall female participation.

Partners with a purpose
The Fab Four presented by Car IQ Pay and USAC is designed to highlight the female drivers competing in the NOS Midget National Championship, AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship, and USAC Silver Crown National.
Female USAC drivers will qualify for the competition beginning at the Kokomo Grand Prix, April 21st - 22nd, through the end of June. The drivers with the top 4 average feature finishing position will then be invited to compete in The Fab Four presented by Car IQ Pay.
From July to the end of the 2023 season, fans will have a chance to vote for their favorite Fab Four driver.
Standings will be crowned based on a combination of fan votes and average feature finishing positions for the season. The winner of The Fab Four will be announced live on November 25th during the Turkey Night Grand Prix.
